Orono came tearing into Friday's contest with seven straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 18.1 points) and they left with even more momentum. They blew past the St. Louis Park Orioles, posting a 90-24 victory. The Spartans' offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.

Orono's win bumped their record up to 12-1. As for St. Louis Park, they dropped their record down to 3-8 with the defeat, which was their fifth straight on the road.
