After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Faulkner County HomeSchool, Christian Ministries Academy was happy to have turned things around on Friday. They took their game with ease, bagging a 58-23 win over the Valley Christian River Hawks. The Conquerors' offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.

Leading Christian Ministries Academy to victory were Wednesday Lobb and Abigail Lobb. Wednesday almost dropped a double-double with 16 points and nine boards, while Abigail posted 19 points and three steals. Those 19 points gave Abigail a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Lexi Roelke, who put up two points in addition to eight rebounds and six steals.

Christian Ministries Academy smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 20 offensive rebounds. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least 15 offensive boards in three consecutive contests.

The victory got Christian Ministries Academy back to even at 2-2. As for Valley Christian, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-2.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming matchups. Christian Ministries Academy will head out to take on Trinity Christian at 6:45 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Valley Christian, they will challenge Scranton at 5:30 p.m. on Monday.
