Softball Game Preview: Bennington Bulldogs vs. Moundridge Wildcats

Bennington is 1-7-1 against Moundridge since May of 2016 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Thursday. The Bulldogs will face off against the Wildcats at 4:30 p.m. Bennington will be strutting in after a victory while Moundridge will be coming in after a defeat.

On Monday, Bennington got the win against Republic County by a conclusive 13-2. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Bulldogs.

Meanwhile, Moundridge lost 18-4 to Inman on Friday. The Wildcats have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Moundridge's loss dropped their record down to 7-4-2. As for Bennington, their win bumped their record up to 2-0.

Bennington took their victory against Moundridge in their previous matchup back in April of 2024 by a conclusive 18-11 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Bulldogs since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
