After flying high against Richland Northeast on Saturday, Spring Valley came back down to earth. The Spring Valley Vikings fell just short of the Westside Rams by a score of 2-1 on Sunday. The Vikings' defeat signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

Their goal came courtesy of Zahi Saddique, which was the first he's scored this season.

Having lost for the first time this season, Spring Valley fell to 3-1. As for Westside, the win keeps them at an undefeated 4-0.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Spring Valley will take on Swansea at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Westside, they will challenge Hillcrest at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Hillcrest will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something Westside surely won't give up without a fight.
