Basketball Recap: Ponce De Leon Comes Up Short

Ponce De Leon lost against Holmes County back in December of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Ponce De Leon Pirates fell just short of the Holmes County Blue Devils by a score of 49-47. The Pirates have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Ponce De Leon's defeat dropped their record down to 7-11. As for Holmes County, the win got them back to even at 7-7.

When Ponce De Leon and Holmes County next hit the court, they'll be up against teams who recently just can't seem to lose. Ponce De Leon will try to stop Baker's three-game winning streak when the meet at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Similarly, Holmes County will square off against Blountstown and their five-game winning streak at 3:45 p.m. on Monday.
