Midlothian is 9-0 against Corsicana since December of 2018 and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Tuesday. A feisty cat fight is on tap when the Midlothian Panthers face off against the Corsicana Tigers at 5:30 p.m. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this match.

Last Friday, Midlothian was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap as they fell 47-41 to Red Oak. While losing is never fun, the Panthers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 232nd, while the Hawks are ranked 111th).

Meanwhile, Corsicana was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They took a 61-50 hit to the loss column at the hands of Kaufman.

Midlothian's defeat dropped their record down to 18-13. As for Corsicana, their loss dropped their record down to 13-19.

Everything went Midlothian's way against Corsicana in their previous meeting on January 3rd, as Midlothian made off with a 50-29 win. Will Midlothian repeat their success, or does Corsicana have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
