Soccer Recap: Hillcrest Comes Up Short

Hillcrest was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat. They took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Greenville Red Raiders. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against Greenville this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-2 on April 4th.

Hillcrest's goal came courtesy of Nick Sialmas, who's now up to eight this season.

Hillcrest's loss dropped their record down to 7-13. As for Greenville, their record is now 10-8.

We've got plenty of inter-region action coming up soon. Hillcrest will square off against rival Woodmont at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Greenville is set to challenge their familiar foe T.L. Hanna at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
