Football Recap: Carlisle Comes Up Short

Carlisle fell victim to Cumberland Valley and their airtight defense on Friday. They took a blow against the Eagles, falling 42-0. The defeat continues a trend for the Thundering Herd in their meetings with the Eagles: they've now lost three in a row.

Kameron Wolfe had an outrageously good game for Cumberland Valley as he rushed for 85 yards and one touchdown on only seven carries, and also threw for 133 yards and a pair of TDs. The dominant performance also gave Wolfe a new career-high in passing touchdowns (two). Hayden Johnson also helped with two scores in total.

Carlisle's loss dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Cumberland Valley, the victory got them back to even at 1-1.
