Basketball Recap: Riverview Comes Up Short

Riverview lost against Carlson back in January and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Riverview Pirates fell just short of the Carlson Marauders by a score of 54-51.

Carlson found their leader in sophomore Rodney Mullins, who made all 5 shots he took for 13 points. Those 13 points set a new season-high mark for Mullins. The team also got some help courtesy of Brody Lavis, who posted ten points.

Riverview's defeat dropped their record down to 3-5. As for Carlson, their win bumped their record up to 3-4.

Riverview will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Anderson at 7:00 p.m. on January 7, 2025. As for Carlson, they will venture away from home to challenge Monroe at 7:00 p.m. on December 28th.
