Seneca has gone 9-1 against Reed-Custer recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Wednesday. The Seneca Fighting Irish just played last yesterday, but they'll still welcome the Reed-Custer Comets at 6:45 p.m. Seneca will be strutting in after a win while Reed-Custer will be coming in after a loss.

Seneca is headed in fresh off scoring the most points they have all season. They claimed a resounding 79-21 victory over Newark. The win continues a trend for the Fighting Irish in their matchups with the Norsemen: they've now won four in a row.

Meanwhile, Reed-Custer came up short against Lisle on Monday and fell 53-42. The defeat continues a trend for the Comets in their matchups with the Lions: they've now lost four in a row.

Despite the loss, Reed-Custer saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Alyssa Wollenzien posted ten points and four steals. What's more, Wollenzien also racked up three assists, the most she's had since back in December of 2024. Another player making a difference was Morgan Toler, who put up four points and five boards.

Even though they lost, Reed-Custer was working as a unit and finished the game with 12 assists. That's the most assists they've managed all season.

Reed-Custer's defeat dropped their record down to 12-15. As for Seneca, their victory bumped their record up to 22-8.

Seneca strolled past Reed-Custer in their previous meeting back in November of 2023 by a score of 52-38. Does Seneca have another victory up their sleeve, or will Reed-Custer turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
