Basketball Recap: Xaine Tessier Leads a Balanced Attack to Beat Frontier

Delphi Community won the last time they faced Frontier and things went their way on Saturday too. The Delphi Community Oracles sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 56-54 win over the Frontier Falcons. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Oracles.

Delphi Community's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Xaine Tessier, who posted 11 points in addition to five boards and four steals. That's the most points Tessier has posted since back in November of 2024. Kaydn McAtee was another key player, going 7 of 17 on his way to 18 points.

Delphi Community has been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six contests, which provided a massive bump to their 11-7 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 57.3 points per game. As for Frontier, their loss dropped their record down to 9-7.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Delphi Community will welcome Rensselaer Central at 3:30 p.m. on Saturday. Frontier has already played their next matchup (against West Central), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
