Basketball Recap: Everett's Luck Changes for the Better on Saturday

Everett had to endure a seven-game losing streak dating back to last season, but that streak is no more. They pulled ahead with a 49-48 photo finish over the Zeeland East Chix on Saturday.

Everett's first victory this season bumped their record up to 1-6. As for Zeeland East, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-3.

Everett will wrap up 2024 with a road trip to face off against Muskegon at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Zeeland East, they will host Christian at 4:30 p.m. on Monday.
