Pewaukee faced Arrowhead in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Saturday. The Pirates took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Warhawks. The Pirates' loss signaled the end of their six-game winning streak.

Their offense was headlined by Mia Hudson and Sydney Brewster, who picked up four kills apiece. They got some help from Lucy May and her 11 assists.

Pewaukee's defeat dropped their record down to 19-8. As for Arrowhead, the victory (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 16-11.

Pewaukee wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 2-0 loss against Oconomowoc on the 27th. As for Arrowhead, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-1 defeat against Divine Savior Holy Angels on the 27th.
