The Richlands Blue Tornado will take on the Virginia High Bearcats at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. Richlands will be strutting in after a victory while Virginia High will be coming in after a loss.

Richlands took a loss when they played away from home on Thursday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Tuesday. Their pitchers stepped up to hand Graham a 4-0 shutout. The Blue Tornado haven't had any issues with the G-Men recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive win against them.

Meanwhile, Virginia High unfortunately witnessed the end of their three-game winning streak on Wednesday. They came up short against Tazewell, falling 9-1. Bearcats fans who chose to attend the game sure picked the wrong one: it was the first time the team's lost against the Bulldogs since on Wednesday.

Richlands' victory was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 8-10. The home wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.0 runs on average over those games. As for Virginia High, their defeat dropped their record down to 8-5.
