Softball Game Preview: Hartford Orioles vs. West Bend East Suns

Hartford is on a five-game streak of home wins, while West Bend East is on a three-game streak of away wins: one of those streaks is about to end. The Orioles will welcome the Suns at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. West Bend East took a loss in their last match and will be looking to turn the tables on Hartford, who comes in off a win.

On Thursday, Hartford got the win against Cedarburg by a conclusive 7-1. Considering the Orioles have won six contests by more than five runs this season, Thursday's blowout was nothing new.

Meanwhile, West Bend East unfortunately witnessed the end of their four-game winning streak on Thursday. They took an 8-4 hit to the loss column at the hands of West Bend West.

Hartford's win bumped their record up to 9-2. As for West Bend East, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-4.

Hartford couldn't quite get it done against West Bend East in their previous meeting back in May of 2024 as they fell 8-5. Can the Orioles avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
