Football Recap: Hall Starts off Right with Win over South Windsor

Hall took care of business in their home opener on Friday. They walked away with a 27-18 victory over the South Windsor Bobcats. The Titans' offense checked out after the first half but had enough points banked to take the game anyway.

Tommy Hussey had an outrageously good game as he rushed for 93 yards and two scores, and also threw for 187 yards and a pair of touchdowns. That's the most passing yards he has posted since back in October of 2024.

Despite the loss, South Windsor still got an impressive performance from Jalil Montgomery, who rushed for 112 yards and one TD on only 13 carries. Montgomery didn't just play on offense: he also forced one fumble and made 13 total tackles.

Hall didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 44-36 loss against New Britain on the 19th. As for South Windsor, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next game, a 41-26 defeat against Windsor on the 18th.
