NCSSM: Morganton won the last time they faced Avery County and things went their way on Monday too. The Dragons put the hurt on the Vikings with a sharp 5-2 victory. It was an even better day for Colette Stokas as she scored three goals for her team.

NCSSM: Morganton is on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six games. That's provided a nice bump to their 9-2-1 record this season. As for Avery County, they dropped their record down to 6-6-1 with the defeat, which was their third straight at home.
