Softball Recap: Ridgeview Panthers vs. Clay Blue Devils
Ridgeview won against Bishop Snyder last Monday with eight runs and they decided to stick to that run total again on Wednesday. The Panthers beat the Clay Blue Devils by the very same score they won with in their prior game: 8-7. This was a revenge game for the Panthers: when they faced off against the Blue Devils back in March, they had to take a 3-1 loss.
Saige Bialek spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered six earned (and one unearned) runs on ten hits and racked up 13 Ks.
At the plate, Peyton Kirk was excellent, going 1-for-4 with two runs, one triple, and one RBI. Danica McLelland also deserves some recognition as she got her first hits of the season.

Kirk wasn't the only one making solid contact: Ridgeview kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 14 hits. That's the most hits they've posted since back in April of 2024.
