The Villages Charter waltzed into their game on Friday with six straight wins... but they left with seven. They walked away with a 4-1 victory over the IMG Academy Blue Ascenders.

Matthew Wolfinger looked comfortable as he tossed 1.2 innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. He has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than two hits in nine consecutive appearances.

On the hitting side, Samuel Craig was excellent, going 1-for-3 with one triple, two RBI, and one run.

The Villages Charter hit smart and finished the game with only two strikeouts. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as IMG Academy Blue struck out 15 times.

The Villages Charter's record is now 18-4. As for IMG Academy Blue, with the loss, they broke their three-game winning streak and moved their record to 9-9.
