Volleyball Game Preview: Incarnate Word Academy Red Knights vs. Eureka Wildcats

The Incarnate Word Academy Red Knights will head out on the road to challenge the Eureka Wildcats at 5:45 p.m. on Tuesday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

Incarnate Word Academy will head out to face Eureka after giving up their first home loss of the season on Monday. The Red Knights fell just short of St. Joseph's Academy by a score of 3-2.

Incarnate Word Academy actually scored more points across those five sets (113-100), but sadly they still had to settle for second. The final score came out to 28-26, 14-25, 14-25, 29-27, 15-10.

Meanwhile, Eureka faced St. Dominic in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Saturday. The Wildcats fell just short of the Crusaders by a score of 2-1.

The loss was their first at home , dropping their record down to 8-7. As for Eureka, their defeat dropped their record down to 11-6-1.

Incarnate Word Academy beat Eureka 3-1 when the teams last played back in October of 2024. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Red Knights since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
