Football Recap: Catholic Central's Undefeated Season over After Four Games

After some red-hot attacks on offense in their last three matchups, Catholic Central finally came back down to earth on Friday. They lost 31-7 to the West Liberty-Salem Tigers. The loss was the Irish's first of the season.

Having lost for the first time this season, Catholic Central fell to 3-1. As for West Liberty-Salem, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 2-2.

Looking ahead, Catholic Central will challenge West Jefferson at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Irish's defense better be ready for this one: the Roughriders have averaged an impressive 42 points per game this season.
