Football Game Preview: Palisades Pumas vs. Varsity Opponent

The Palisades Pumas will take on Varsity Opponent at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Palisades has three straight victories, Varsity Opponent has six straight losses), but none of that matters once you're on the field.

Palisades' defense heads into the match hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on April 5th. They claimed a resounding 33-0 win over Varsity Opponent. Considering the Pumas have won four contests by more than 32 points this season, Saturday's blowout was nothing new.

Palisades didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of Miracle Moore and Kamaria Hampton. Moore got in on the action too, converting a pick into a touchdown.

Palisades' victory bumped their record up to 5-1. As for Varsity Opponent, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-20.
