Schley County is 8-2 against Marion County since January of 2020 and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Monday. The Schley County Wildcats will head out to square off against the Marion County Eagles at 6:00 p.m. Schley County will be strutting in after a victory while Marion County will be coming in after a defeat.

Last Saturday, everything came up roses for Schley County against Southwest Georgia STEM Charter as the team secured a 51-21 win. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Wildcats.

Meanwhile, Marion County was just a bucket shy of victory on Saturday and fell 54-53 to Macon County.

Schley County has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five contests, which provided a massive bump to their 12-9 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 51.2 points per game. As for Marion County, their loss dropped their record down to 11-8.

Schley County beat Marion County 48-35 when the teams last played back in December of 2024. The rematch might be a little tougher for Schley County since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
