Softball Recap: Clackamas Comes Up Short

Barlow hit Clackamas with a eight-run fourth inning on Wednesday, which goes a long way in explaining the final result. The Cavaliers came up short against the Bruins, falling 10-0. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Bruins this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 10-0 back in April.

Clackamas has also traveled a rocky road recently, having lost ten of their last 12 games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-16 record this season. As for Barlow, with the victory, they broke their three-game losing streak and moved their record to 12-8.

Looking ahead, Clackamas will challenge Sandy at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Cavaliers are facing the Pioneers at the right time seeing as the Pioneers are stuck on a four-game losing streak. As for Barlow, they will face off against Reynolds at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. The Raiders have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 11 runs per game on average), something the Bruins will no doubt try to take advantage of.
