Batesburg-Leesville found a leader in Kd Whitt as the squad took down Pelion on Friday. Pelion had no answer to Whitt as he picked up 81 receiving yards and a pair of scores, and also punched in one rushing score.

Looking ahead, Whitt and Batesburg-Leesville will face off against Saluda at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. The contest will pit Whitt up against the Tigers' star receiver Jakaile Stevens.
