Softball Recap: Southmoreland Falls Short of Mohawk Area in the Playoffs

Southmoreland and Mohawk Area squared off in some playoff action on Monday, but Southmoreland had to settle for second. They fell just short of the Warriors by a score of 8-6. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest defeat the Scotties have suffered since March 18th.

Southmoreland has traveled a rocky road recently, having lost four of their last five games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-7 record this season. As for Mohawk Area, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 14-6-1.

As of now, neither Southmoreland nor the Warriors have any future games scheduled.
