Baseball Recap: Wautoma Gets the Win

Wautoma won the last time they faced Berlin and things went their way on Monday too. The Hornets walked away with a 7-2 win over the Indians. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Hornets.

Peyton Pica was excellent, scoring two runs while going 3-for-4. The team also got some help courtesy of Tait Keller, who scored two runs and stole a base while going 1-for-3.

Wautoma's record is now 2-3. As for Berlin, their loss was their fourth straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 0-5.

Looking ahead, Wautoma will look to defend their home field on Thursday against Adams-Friendship at 5:00 p.m. As for Berlin, they will head out to square off against Waupun at 4:45 p.m. on Tuesday. The Warriors will roll in looking for their fifth straight victory, something the Indians surely won't give up without a fight.
