Volleyball Recap: Agricultural Science Comes Up Short

The Agricultural Science Cyclones didn't have quite enough to beat the ACERO Garcia Patriots on Thursday and fell 2-1.

Agricultural Science actually scored more points across those three sets (69-68), but sadly they still had to settle for second. The match finished with set scores of 25-21, 18-25, 25-23.

Agricultural Science's defeat dropped their record down to 1-6. As for ACERO Garcia, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 3-5 record this season.

Agricultural Science wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 2-0 loss against Back of the Yards College Prep on the 22nd. As for ACERO Garcia, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 2-0 defeat against Curie on the 21st.
