Mott kept up with Walled Lake Northern until halftime on Friday, but afterwards: not so much. The Knights were the clear victors by an 8-1 margin over the Corsairs. Considering Walled Lake Northern have won four games by more than two goals this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

Walled Lake Northern's win was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 5-2-1. The road victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only given up one goal over those three matchups. As for Mott, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost five of their last six contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 2-7-3 record this season.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Walled Lake Northern will host South Lyon East at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Mott, they will be playing at home against Lapeer at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
