Basketball Recap: Lighthouse College Prep Academy Takes a Loss

Lighthouse College Prep Academy won a close one the last time they played, but unfortunately they suffered a serious change of fortune on Thursday. They were dealt a 69-34 defeat at the hands of the East Chicago Central Cardinals. The matchup marked the Lions' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Lighthouse College Prep Academy's loss was their fifth straight at home, which dropped their record down to 1-8. As for East Chicago Central, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 6-2.

Lighthouse College Prep Academy and River Forest will round out the year against one another at at 7:00 p.m. on December 28th. As for East Chicago Central, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 79-74 victory against Michigan City on the 19th.
