            Volleyball Recap: Hoopa Valley Warriors vs. South Fork Cubs        
        
		
        
        
            
Hoopa Valley can  bid farewell to their five-match losing streak thanks to their match  on Tuesday. They walked away with  a   3-1  win over the South Fork Cubs. This was a revenge game for the Warriors: when they faced off against the Cubs  two weeks ago, they had to take a  3-2  defeat.
 The  victory didn't come easy: South Fork scored at least 21 points in every set. The final score came out to 26-24, 25-21, 23-25,  25-21.

 Hoopa Valley's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was   Vuunsip E-Kor, who  had 17  digs, 14  kills,  and two  aces. Those  14  kills gave  E-Kor a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of  Naress Crawford, who  had 12  digs and five  aces.
The  victory was their first  on the road , bumping their record up to 4-20-1. As for South Fork, they have  been struggling recently as they've  lost six of their last seven matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 7-13 record  this season.
 We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Hoopa Valley is set to  square off against  their familiar foe Ferndale  at 6:30  p.m.  on Thursday. Meanwhile, South Fork will  challenge  rival St. Bernard's  at 6:30  p.m.  on Thursday.
