Basketball Recap: Houston Takes Loss Despite Strong Performances from Kase Brooks and Lacorio Hamilton

Houston lost against Baldwyn back in December of 2023 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Hilltoppers lost to the Bearcats on the road by a 59-41 margin.

Lacorio Hamilton and Kase Brooks certainly did their best on Monday to avoid the loss. Hamilton posted nine points, while Brooks earned eight points. Hamilton is also on a roll when it comes to field goal percentage, as he's posted one of at least 50% in the last three games he's played.

Houston's defeat dropped their record down to 7-4. As for Baldwyn, the victory keeps them at an undefeated 9-0.

Houston has already played their next matchup, an 89-53 win against Caledonia on the 16th. As for Baldwyn, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 65-28 victory against Potts Camp on the 19th.
