Softball Recap: St. Bernard Comes Up Short

St. Bernard was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss dating back to last season. They lost 24-7 to the St. Genevieve Valiants. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Vikings of the 26-1 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in April of 2024.

St. Bernard's loss dropped their record down to 0-2. As for St. Genevieve, they pushed their record up to 3-2 with the victory, which was their third straight on the road.

Coincidentally, St. Bernard and St. Genevieve will both be playing La Salle the next time they take the field. St. Genevieve will host La Salle at 2:30 p.m. on Thursday, while St. Bernard will host them at 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
