While Fife might've come up empty on Tuesday, Brett Marvel wasn't going down without a fight. Marvel was unstoppable, tossing five innings while giving up just one earned (and four unearned) runs off five hits. He has been consistent for a while: he hasn't given up more than two walks in nine consecutive appearances.

Even though Marvel couldn't lead Fife over Orting, he won't have to wait long to try again: the teams have a rematch scheduled at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. Sadly, Marvel's big day wasn't enough to stop the loss, which snapped the Trojans' six-game streak of wins at home.
