In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Kaitlyn Carpenter, who scored three runs while getting on base in two of her three plate appearances. Another player making a difference was Jada Willis, who scored two runs while going 2-for-4.

At the plate, Bandys saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Avery Alexander, who went 2-for-3 with one stolen base. What's more, Alexander posted two hits, the most she's had since back in April of 2024.
Bandys' loss dropped their record down to 0-3. As for West Lincoln, they now have a winning record of 2-1.
Bandys' pitching crew has a crucial task ahead of them: West Lincoln has been making plenty of contact this season, having averaged 11 hits per game. It's a different story for Bandys, though, as they've been averaging 9 hits. Given West Lincoln's sizable advantage in that area, Bandys will need to find a way to close that gap.
