Basketball Recap: King/Drew Takes a Tough Playoff Loss

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact King/Drew can now relate to. They fell just short of the Gardena Panthers by a score of 36-33 on Thursday. The Golden Eagles' loss continues a trend for the squad, making it three in a row.

King/Drew's defeat dropped their record down to 9-20. As for Gardena, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 16-13.

King/Drew does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Gardena, they will square off against Granada Hills Charter at 7:00 p.m. on Saturday.
