Basketball Game Preview: Valley View Cougars vs. Mid Valley Spartans

The Valley View Cougars will take on the Mid Valley Spartans at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

Last Thursday, Valley View lost to Scranton at home by a 59-42 margin.

Meanwhile, Mid Valley was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap on Thursday as they fell 43-38 to Lakeland. The Spartans have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Mid Valley's defeat dropped their record down to 11-11. As for Valley View, their loss dropped their record down to 14-5.

Valley View beat Mid Valley 47-35 in their previous meeting back in December of 2024. Does Valley View have another victory up their sleeve, or will Mid Valley turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
