Baseball Game Preview: North Fremont Huskies vs. West Jefferson Panthers

North Fremont is a perfect 10-0 against West Jefferson since April of 2021 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Tuesday. The Huskies will venture away from home to take on the Panthers at 4:00 p.m. North Fremont is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 8.6 runs per game this season.

On Saturday, North Fremont made easy work of Challis and carried off a 9-2 victory. The Huskies might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won three contests by seven runs or more this season.

Reuger Lenz was excellent, going 4-for-5 with one stolen base and two RBI. Those two RBI gave him a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Cameron Shuldberg, who went 2-for-4 with three RBI and one run.

Meanwhile, West Jefferson fell victim to Salmon and their airtight pitching crew on Saturday. They lost 20-0 to the Savages.

North Fremont now has a winning record of 3-2. As for West Jefferson, their loss dropped their record down to 0-2.

North Fremont got the 'W' in their previous matchup back in April of 2025 against West Jefferson by a conclusive 9-2 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Huskies since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
