Volleyball Recap: Frontier Regional Comes Up Short

Frontier Regional was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They lost 3-0 to the East Longmeadow Spartans. The Red Hawks were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Spartans apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in May of 2024.

Frontier Regional took the loss but they managed to make steady progress, increasing their score in every set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-9, 25-19, 25-23.

Tegan Dexter paced Frontier Regional's offense, picking up eight kills. Dexter got some help from Tavo Vincent-Warner and his 19 assists. Dexter was also solid from the service line: he led the team with four aces.

Frontier Regional's defeat dropped their record down to 2-4. As for East Longmeadow, they pushed their record up to 7-0 with the victory, which was their third straight on the road.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Frontier Regional will square off against Agawam at 6:15 p.m. on Thursday. As for East Longmeadow, they will challenge Commerce at 5:15 p.m. on Thursday.
