Baseball Game Preview: Warren County Wildcats vs. Handley Judges

Warren County has gone 8-1 against Handley recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Monday. Warren County will look to defend their home field against Handley at 6:00 p.m. Warren County is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 7 runs per game this season.

Warren County gave up the first runs on Friday, but they didn't let that get them down. They walked away with a 9-6 victory over Fauquier.

Gavin Dodson was incredible, scoring two runs and stealing two bases while going 3-for-4. Those three hits gave him a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Adam Andlinger, who scored two runs and stole a base while getting on base in three of his four plate appearances.

Meanwhile, Handley fought the good fight in their extra-innings match against Millbrook on Friday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They fell just short of the Pioneers by a score of 3-1. Having soared to a lofty 18 runs in the game before, the Judges couldn't push the score so high this time.

Warren County now has a winning record of 3-2. As for Handley, their loss dropped their record down to 2-2.

Warren County took their win against Handley in their previous meeting two weeks ago by a conclusive 14-3. Does Warren County have another victory up their sleeve, or will Handley turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
