Football Recap: Mott Haven's Victory on Friday Extends Winning Streak to Three

Mott Haven had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 21 points) and they went ahead and made it three on Friday. They came within six points of losing the streak, but they secured a 12-6 W against the Grady Falcons. The score was all tied up 6-6 at the break, but the Mavericks were the (much) better team in the second half.

Mott Haven's victory bumped their record up to 3-1. As for Grady, their loss was their first of the season and makes their record 2-1.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Mott Haven will challenge rival Information Tech at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Grady is set to take on their familiar foe Evander Childs on Saturday.
