East Providence got themselves on the board against Tolman on Friday, but Tolman never followed suit. They claimed a resounding  40-0 victory over the Tigers. The result was nothing new for the Townies, who have now won three contests by 21  points or more  so far this season.
 Isaac Rodriguez had an outrageously good game as he rushed for 131 yards and a pair of  scores on only six carries. Another player making a difference was  Jacob Duarte, who rushed for 22 yards and two  touchdowns.
 Wins are hard to come by when you can't run the rock, something East Providence proved: they limited Tolman to a paltry 3.3 yards per carry. The Townies didn't have any issues in that department, having averaged 10.6.
The  win (which was East Providence's third in a row) raised their record to 4-2. Those  victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as  they  averaged 45.7 points over those games. As for Tolman, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-2.
 Coming up, East Providence will take on South Kingstown at 11:00  a.m.  on Saturday. As for Tolman, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Woonsocket  at 6:00  p.m.  on Thursday. The Tigers will be up against the Villa Novans' rather soft defense (which has allowed 26.2  points per  matchup), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
