Baseball Recap: Archbishop Williams Comes Up Short

Archbishop Williams was the 6-5 winner over Bishop Fenwick when they last played one another back in April of 2025, but their luck changed this time around. The Bishops fell just short of the Crusaders by a score of 3-2 on Wednesday. The Bishops have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Archbishop Williams' loss dropped their record down to 5-8-1. As for Bishop Fenwick, their victory was their seventh straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 8-3.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming matchups. Archbishop Williams will venture away from home to face off against Stoughton at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. The Black Knights have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 7.5 runs per game on average), something the Bishops will no doubt try to take advantage of. As for Bishop Fenwick, they will head out to take on Marblehead at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday.
