Volleyball Recap: Muscle Shoals Trojans vs. Hartselle Tigers
With a playoff game on the line, Muscle Shoals rose to the challenge on Thursday. They skirted past the Hartselle Tigers 3-2. Winning may never get old, but the Trojans sure are getting used to it with their 16th in a row.
Muscle Shoals wouldn't go down easily and took Hartselle into a fifth set where they got it done with a five-point win. The final score came out to 25-23, 25-14, 21-25, 20-25, 15-10.
Muscle Shoals has been performing well recently as they've won 18 of their last 22 games, which provided a nice bump to their 24-15 record this season. As for Hartselle, they now have a losing record at 23-24.
Muscle Shoals wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 3-1 defeat against Athens on the 17th. Hartselle does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
