Jake Cook Goes Supernova in Joliet Victory
Winning always takes teamwork, but on Thursday Jake Cook stepped things up a notch to give Joliet the 'W'. Nobody could stop Cook as he rushed for 84 yards and two touchdowns on only 11 carries, and also picked up 72 receiving yards. He didn't just play on offense: he also made four total tackles and defended a pass in addition to snagging an interception which he returned one-yard for a touchdown.
Cook will have a chance to log another big game when he takes on Huntley Project on Friday. Cook will face off against Grady Schmidt on Friday, the Red Devils' star running back. With so much talent on the field, fans are surely in for an exciting game. The only thing left to see is who brings home the W.
