Soccer Game Preview: Jordan vs. Park City

The Jordan Beetdiggers will head out to challenge the Park City Miners at 7:00 p.m. on Saturday. Jordan has now lost 11 straight, leaving the team hunting for their first win since March 11.

Wednesday just wasn't the day for Jordan's offense. They lost 7-0 to Tooele on Wednesday.

Kailyer Konold, who's played more minutes than anyone else on the Jordan squad sat out for Wednesday's match. With Konold sitting this one out, Skyler Heaps got some extra time on the pitch (80 vs. his season average of 52.5).

Meanwhile, Park City didn't have quite enough to beat Wasatch on Thursday and fell 2-1. Park City have struggled against Wasatch recently, as the game was their seventh consecutive lost meeting.

Jordan's defeat dropped their record down to 1-12. As for Park City, their loss dropped their record down to 5-7.

Jordan might still be hurting after the 6-1 defeat they got from Park City in their previous meeting on April 1st. That game was all but decided by halftime, at which point the Beetdiggers were down 4-0.
