Soccer Recap: Winthrop College Prep Academy Takes a Loss

Winthrop College Prep Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They came up short against the Southeast Seminoles, falling 7-0. While losing is never fun, the Spartans can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Florida soccer rankings (they are ranked 535th, while the Seminoles are ranked 250th).

Winthrop College Prep Academy's loss dropped their record down to 0-7-4. As for Southeast, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 5-5-3.

Winthrop College Prep Academy has already played their next contest, a 5-2 victory against Cristo Rey Tampa on the 16th. As for Southeast, they will head out to take on Boca Ciega at 8:00 p.m. on December 20th.
