Basketball Game Preview: Rock Canyon Jaguars vs. Castle View Sabercats

Rock Canyon hasn't had much luck against Castle View recently, but that could start to change on Tuesday. The Rock Canyon Jaguars will welcome the Castle View Sabercats at 7:00 p.m.

Rock Canyon is likely headed into the matchup with a focus on the second half, which is when things went downhill against Highlands Ranch on Friday. Rock Canyon fell to Highlands Ranch 43-38. The contest marked the Jaguars' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Meanwhile, Castle View made easy work of Douglas County on Friday and carried off a 52-27 win. The match was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 35-8.

This is the second loss in a row for Rock Canyon and nudges their season record down to 12-8. As for Castle View, their victory bumped their record up to 7-15.

Rock Canyon took their win against Castle View when the teams last played back in February of 2024 by a conclusive 47-27. Will Rock Canyon repeat their success, or does Castle View have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
