Basketball Game Preview: Miller Rebels vs. San Bernardino Cardinals

The Miller Rebels will face off against the San Bernardino Cardinals at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.

Miller is headed into the match out to prove that what happened against Indian Springs on Tuesday (when they were outscored in every quarter) was just a minor bump in the road. Miller was beaten by Indian Springs 85-54. The loss continues a trend for the Rebels in their matchups with the COYOTES: they've now lost eight in a row.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask San Bernardino). They breezed by Pacific to the tune of 96-20 on Monday. The victory was familiar territory for the Cardinals who have now won four games in a row.

San Bernardino's win was their fifth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 13-10. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 66.2 points per game. As for Miller, their defeat ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 3-10.

Miller was taken down by San Bernardino 83-36 in their previous matchup back in December of 2024. That contest was all but decided by halftime, at which point Miller was down 49-17.
