Softball Recap: Three Straight Road Wins for Marine City

The Marine City Mariners beat the Warren Woods-Tower Titans 11-6 on Thursday. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Mariners.

Marine City's victory was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 5-3. The road wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 10.3 runs over those games. As for Warren Woods-Tower, they have been struggling recently as they've lost seven of their last nine games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-8 record this season.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Marine City will challenge Hartland at 11:20 a.m. on Saturday. As for Warren Woods-Tower, they will look to defend their home field on Saturday against Lutheran North at 10:00 a.m. The Mustangs will roll in looking for their fifth straight victory, something the Titans surely won't give up without a fight.
